Today was business as usual, well Ethiopia usual! Most of us walked to where we are working on our various projects. I work with Dan and Brian, Brian was not feeling well today so Dan and I tag teamed replacing a couple of door locks along with some light bulbs. We probably found a total of six light fixtures that worked and threw out 50 or so florescent bulbs. Dan, Katie and I also rode in the ambulance to a neighboring city called Butajera to look at an example of some shelving that Project Mercy would like to have. Amazing that we had to burn and hour to go take a picture when in America, a simple text would’ve solved the problem. After lunch and some more light bulb changes most of us had a treat which was soda. The flavors were sprite, coke, orange and pineapple. Katie put them in the fridge and chilled them for us. Not the coldest, but none the less a nice treat after a few days of work. After work we all sat on the porch step and talked about the day while waiting for dinner which was a garlic pasta, salad and bread.
