After a day and a half of not feeling well, it made me think of Biblical times, where the people did not have running water or electricity. I’m sure they went through the same things I went through, yet endured, because they didn’t know anything different. I have been very busy in the dental clinic this past week. My main focus is doing some fillings and lots of extractions. Some of these are permanent teeth that are “bombed” out. It’s sad to see, but at least I can help them get comfortable. I also did 2 root canals, without x-rays, which was a challenge. The heater to warm the material did not work, so Z and I warmed the material with a match. Success! We have been blessed to have Becky, a dental hygienist, and Z and Gezo to assist me and Becky. There are patients lined up for Monday, the last day of work here. With water and electricity at a premium, the hospital generator has been used a lot to keep things going. The people working in the clinic are so kind and helpful. I’m really going to miss them when we get home. Thanks to all of you for keeping us in your prayers, as the trip would have been a flop without your prayers backing us up.
